Know before you go
- Exact full names of all travelers must be provided at the booking as the entry tickets to the Vatican Museums are named and checked at the entrance to the site;
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Vatican Museums;
- Visitors must be on time at the meeting point. In case of any delay they won't be able to access the Vatican Museums and join the guided tour;
- All visitors must pass through airport-style security;
- A dress code is required to enter the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Basilica. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed;
- St. Peter’s Basilica can be closed unexpectedly for liturgical ceremonies or unforeseen circumstances. If closed, the time inside the Vatican Museums will be extended;
- Vatican Museums' halls and galleries can be closed unexpectedly for restoration or unforeseen circumstances. In case of any closure the itinerary will be adjusted accordingly;
