Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel & St. Peter's Basilica Tour

Begin at the Pinecone Courtyard͏ where a learned guide shall unveil for you the allegories, techniques, and stories that lie behind those works͏ as you walk through the Gallery of Maps ͏and Tapestry Hall.

In the rooms of Raphael, pause to look at The School of Athens together with other masterworks by Raphael and his students in their pursuit of understanding how power, faith, and rivalry made Renaissance happen.

Go to the Sistine Chapel for quiet, focused looking at Michelangelo’s ceiling and The Last Judgement.

Then, if you want to see it, walk over to St.

Peter’s Basilica where you can look at Bernini’s Baldachin, Michelangelo’s Pietà and enjoy the nave — which are parts of all those things that are parts of a visit to the Vatican! Please make sure you come 15 minutes before your set start time.

Wear clothes that cover your shoulders and knees as this is the right dress code for holy places.

All guests must go through a security check.

No photos can be taken inside the Sistine Chapel.
