Begin your walk at the panoramic terrace of the Vatican Gardens that gives an awesome view of St.

Peter’s Basilica dome, then take a stroll through the archaeological Pio Clementino Museum and wander its beautiful second floor corridors which include the Gallery of the Candelabra, Gallery of Tapestries, and particularly remarkable Gallery of Maps.

The walls in this gallery are fully decorated with frescoes depicting maps of old Italian lands all brought to life under golden light from the ceiling.
