Your experience

Start your trip at the Touristation office, where you will get basic info via a multimedia show about Ancient Rome.

Go with your guide on foot to the entrance of the Forum, and there start your self-guided tour.

Learn about the Roman Forum; once an active center for common people in Rome, stop by the tomb of Emperor Julius Caesar, and explore the old ruins at your own pace.

After this, head to Palatine Hill, the place known as the start of Rome; it had here the biggest homes of emperors and kings.

Step into one of the world’s most famous landmarks: the Colosseum.

Spend about two hours touring the Colosseum, starting from the time of your meeting at Touristation.

Explore the expansive theater—the biggest built by the Roman Empire.

Further enrich your experience with a detailed guided tour in English that covers the essential sites of Rome: Navona, the Pantheon, and the Trevi Fountain.

This tour is to be taken as the perfect introduction to the city's deep history, giving expert comments on its main monuments and landmarks.

Finally, appreciate the treasures of the Vatican Museums on a self-guided tour.

Walk through the Hall of Maps and Pinecone Courtyard, Gallery of Tapestries, Gallery of Candelabra and Rooms of Raphael.

Then enter the Sistine Chapel and look up at the splendid ceiling work.

Take your time to view the enormous collection of art amassed over Catholic history-including Roman sculptures as well as Renaissance masterpieces.

Works by Renaissance masters will be found in the Raphael Rooms and one may take siesta time in the Borgia Apartments.
