Your experience

This private Vatican Museums tour includes a free pick-up and drop-off from Civitavecchia Port by one of our English-speaking drivers.

As soon as you reach the port, this driver will meet you and accompany you to the entrance of the museum, which is usually very crowded.

You will meet your guide at the entrance.

With your "skip-the-line" tickets, you can avoid the long queue and directly proceed to security check through metal detectors.

The panoramic terrace where this tour starts offers breathtaking views of St.

Peter's dome above the Vatican gardens— an ideal place for taking pictures! Soon after, your guide takes you through the highlights of these vast collections showing masterpieces and artifacts from many cultures and civilizations.

Because it possesses superb Greek and Roman ancient statues, such as that implemented by Laocoon group Pio Clementine Museum will be visited.

As you admire the impressive length of Tapestry Hall and pass through the Hall of Painted Maps, you will finally come into the Sistine Chapel, a site whose significance in history, religion, and visual arts is unmatched all over the world.

This experience is meant for a small and intimate group, capped at 10 maximum participants as we want to make sure that our clients feel at ease not like the discomfort that usually comes with larger gatherings.

During Jubilee Year, access from Sistine Chapel to St.

Peter's Basilica is barred.

To get to the Basilica you will have to go back to entrance and along Vatican Walls via Viale Vaticano, Via Leone IV, Piazza Risorgimento, Viale Leone IV , Porta Angelica ,c )and Piazza San Pietro returning where one has just been .

On reaching there about 10 minutes waiting time can be expected.

With your ID in hand, you'll get the chance to go inside and see the Basilica on your own.

The walk is about 1 kilometer, which usually takes around 20 minutes.

You will barely have time to spend in Piazza San Pietro after the visit, before you have to go back to Civitavecchia.
