Your experience

Get the feel of Vatican City with a perfectly intensive yet very well-organized itinerary designed in such a way that losing your bearings is practically impossible.

Begin your journey with an introductory guided tour of the Vatican Gardens, quite possibly the most private and least-expected facet of the Vatican.

You'll find paths within well-ordered walkways, green corners, views and details great and small which speak to history and to the identity of this state─unique in the world.

After seeing the Gardens you will go back to the Vatican Museums for a guided tour that focuses on the upper galleries picked for their beauty and importance.

This tour ends at the Sistine Chapel, making it the high point of your visit.

If you want to see both the Gardens and the Sistine Chapel while also getting some of the best parts of the Museums in between, this setup works well.

Know before you go

  • - To enter the Sistine Chapel, we recommend covering your shoulders and knees (for everyone, no exceptions). Otherwise, you might not be allowed in.
  • - Just a heads-up: the Sistine Chapel might close without warning for religious ceremonies or official events.
  • - Michelangelo's Last Judgment will undergo extraordinary maintenance: in the first months of 2026, scaffolding will be installed to carry out the work, which should be completed by March 2026. So, we're letting all visitors know that the Sistine Chapel will stay open, but the view might be partially blocked by the scaffolding.
Not Suitable for
