Know before you go

  • Confirmation is available at time of booking. Please be advised that there is a dress code required to visit places of worship and Vatican Museum. No shorts or sleeveless tops are allowed; knees and shoulders must be covered for both men and women— failure to comply with these dress requirements may result in refused entry.
  • At least two persons per booking are needed.
  • There is a moderate amount of walking required as the tour is not wheelchair accessible.
  • Child discount is available only with valid ID. It is important to remember that you cannot bring large bags, backpacks or suitcases inside the Colosseum as there is no facility for storage of such items; small bags are allowed. Maximum 7 persons per booking.
  • Metal detectors are a must for visitors at the security checkpoint; the wait time is estimated to be between 20 and 30 minutes. Prohibition of using selfie sticks inside the Colosseum is based on security considerations.
