When you walk into the large Coliseum, a great example of engineering, you will find seats for 50,000 people all under a large cover which lets everyone watch the strong fights between gladiators and wild animals.
Roman Forum: After visiting the Colosseum, take a walk through the archaeological sites at the Roman Forum which was once the bustling center of business, law, and government in ancient Rome.
See what is left of old temples and tombs like the building where the Roman Senate met and also where Julius Caesar’s body was burned to feel for yourself how grand Rome was during its best times.
Walk down this main street that Caesar began building his Imperial Forums along back in 46 B.C.
which was an important area to them completed by later emperors with more temples and houses up until A.D 608.
Basilica of Maxentius and the place where they built the great Arch of Titus, this is the entrance to the vast Palatine Hill.
Here Romulus set up his huts at what became eventually the most powerful empire in history.
There are views to be savored as one stands amidst the relics of a 4,000-year-old wall and huts attributed to Romulus overlooking the Eternal City.
Vatican Museums͏: Your driver will take you to the Vatican Museums, home to a great number of works by world-famous artists.
