Your experience

Start at the Colosseum, the greatest monument in Rome.

Listen to stories of savage battles and breathtaking sea combats that were held in this very arena.

Find out how what was going on behind the curtain, so to say, helps give a fillip to this show.

As you continue your visit, you will also learn the other side of the history of Rome, entering into the religious rites and political strifes conducted within these very walls.

You may visit some famous temples- maybe the Temple of Saturn – or walk in the gardens of the House of the Vestal Virgins.

For most people, running through the Roman Forum does not give a complete picture of Roman life.

You will run all over the old rocks of the Via Sacra, with marks from old carts still very clear, before reaching the Arch of Titus.

Take your time in viewing the Roman Forum; this presents quite a strong view of this city; it had every level of Roman society.

THEN, travel over to Vatican City center of Catholic faith and site of one of the world’s greatest art collections! You’ll probably spend your day first on the Vatican Museums so that you see things like Laocoon possibly the most important and inspiring ancient statue ever created - and incredible frescoes in Raphael Rooms.

This is going to really make you ‘get’ the fantastic frescoes that Michelangelo painted in the Sistine Chapel.

You will feel the immensity and ὰesthetical St.

Peter’s Basilica holds in store when learning from this incredible edifice.

When your pleasant day in Rome comes to an end, have a beer at quaint little artistic-treasure-and–story… lined corners… gem façade hiding a bar, the oldest and most unusual neighborhoods in the city.

Look at copies of beautiful Baroque art like the Trevi Fountain; and, much more than that, structure ‘‘pans out,’’ and its historical references today’s Pantheon.

Daylight hours end at Piazza Navona: twilight at that magical spot, where you look into the waters of Bernini's Four Rivers Fountain…` and feel that it’s the Eternal City at sunset.
