Your experience

The Vatican night tour covers all the main treasures of the impressive collections inside.

As you travel through time and art, ancient statues from Greece and Rome will catch your eye, and you’ll enjoy the beautiful Raphael Rooms.

Walk down the grand Gallery of Maps while listening to stories about the detailed topographical maps of Italy on the walls.

Also, the amazing Gallery of Tapestries will surely stand out with its many huge hand-woven tapestries that offer optical tricks and unexpected visual effects.

Great stories of the glorious history of the Vatican will also be shared with you, including stories about bitter rivalries between artists whose works decorate halls and rooms.

Listen to interesting anecdotes about the Popes who lived within such majesty in the walls of the Vatican.

A small group of just 6 people will allow time and space for questions to be posed and further probing into areas where interest has been piqued.

Your path will take you to the Sistine Chapel, where Michelangelo painted his best-known work and probably the most famous ceiling in the world.

No words or pictures will ever do justice to how incredibly beautiful it is.

Take time to sit back and look up, take in all that splendor lit by soft evening light― allow yourself to experience its grandeur.

Your guide leaves you at the end of your tour inside the museums so that you can stay for as long as you'd like.

Between January 12 and March 31, in the context of extraordinary conservation works at the Last Judgment by Michelangelo inside the Sistine Chapel – Vatican Museums – there will be a supporting structure covering the entire wall where the Last Judgment is displayed.

The Sistine Chapel remains open and fully accessible, but no view of this artwork will be possible during the time it takes to restore it.

Thank you for your comprehension while such an enormous masterpiece is receiving much-needed attention.
