Your experience

Are you looking for the perfect Vatican Day? This is all you need, the best that Vatican City has to bring, from stunning heights to great masterpieces in one complete five-hour “Vatican in your pocket” combo tour.

So kick off from St.

Peter’s Basilica and dive into history a couple of centuries back.

First, you’ll take an elevator ride up to the level of the St.

Peter’s Dome first floor, visit the panoramic terrace, and enjoy wonderful views of St.

Peter’s Square.

For an even more adventurous experience, step up to the additional 300 steps to the summit and enjoy an amazing 360° panorama over Rome and the Vatican City- and trust us, it’s totally worth it.

Upon return to ground level, you will have free time within the Basilica to explore at your leisure.

Don’t miss the chance to view Michelangelo’s Pietà, stand under the Bernini Baldacchino, as well as visit the very imposing altar standing above St.

Peter’s tomb.

Then we shall go to Vatican Museums, where your skip-the-line access helps squeeze most of your time out of the art you really want to see.

Raphael’s Rooms and the Gallery of Maps along with a peaceful Courtyard are visited before coming finally to the climax of the tour – Sistine Chapel.

Amid this fabulous setting, you will stand spellbound beneath that famous ceiling painted by Michelangelo and see masterpieces like The Creation of Adam as well as witness the equally important Last Judgment.

It is more than just a trip – an experience of direct participation in the life of the Vatican which combines history, art, architecture, and breathtaking panoramas into an unforgettable journey.

This has to be done for anyone going to Rome.
