  • While the Vatican Museums offer free entry to disabled visitors plus one carer during peak season, high numbers of guests might lead to an increased waiting time for the security check and you will be required to collect the Vatican headsets. Please remember that all visitors are required to have their shoulders and knees covered upon entering the Sistine Chapel.
  • St. Peter's Basilica is closed for unexpected last-minute closures, including religious ceremonies; in such cases, the local guide will offer a full explanation and visit of the Vatican Museums instead
  • Every Wednesday and on those days established by the Vatican, it is not possible to access St. Peter's Basilica after 2:30 PM
