You are led into the Vatican Museums where you will peacefully adore two great masterpieces — the Gallery of Maps and Raphael's Rooms. The place is also home to a small courtyard with a centrally placed fountain which serves as an architectural frame for some real superstars of classical art, namely the Laocoon and the Apollo of the Belvedere. Towards the end of your visit you will be shown Michelangelo's great masterpiece — Sistine Chapel — almost in solitude: our guide will detail every part of the ceiling and walls expertly frescoed by the Renaissance master so that you can easily appreciate it. Inside the Vatican Museums you will be brought to the Gallery of Maps and Raphael's Rooms where you can peacefully enjoy these magnificent masterpieces. In addition, you will also see a small courtyard with a central fountain — the background architecture for two great works of classical art: Laocoon and Apollo of Belvedere. Towards the end of your tour you will have an exclusive opportunity to appreciate Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel almost by yourself. Our guide will walk you through every detail on the ceiling and walls (which were painted by Michelangelo during Renaissance) with mastery explaining them in-depth.
