Full description

Commence the tour guidance through the Vatican Museums with significant collections of art and historical items. It is the home to masterpieces of Michelangelo, Raphael, and other legends from the Renaissance era. Do wander through galleries that are studded with exquisite works; do admire tapestries which tell a story in threads, and marvel at those sculptures which have defied time itself. Then make your way to the Sistine Chapel: it leaves visitors speechless as they stand before Michelangelo's ceiling that seems to come alive with vibrant colors — plus frescoes including The Last Judgment. At the conclusion of our guided portion there are two options laid before you: either make a choice to stay back and continue exploring at your own leisurely pace (there's much more to see within these museum walls!) or accompany your guide through a special passageway. This passage leads from the museums to St. Peter's Basilica allowing privileged access only to those select few who know about it— bypassing all queues that usually snake out of both buildings' entrances.

Includes

  • Avoid queues with this skip-the-line entrance to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel!
  • It includes an official Spanish-speaking guide of the Vatican Museums, wireless audio headsets for clear commentary from your guide during your tour, and access to St. Peter's Basilica.

Not includes

  • An Italian Renaissance church situated within Vatican City, the papal enclave inside Rome— Saint Peter's Basilica. It covers a total area of 15160 square meters and stands at a height of 136.57 meters; considered one of the most sacred Catholic locations. An exploration through this architectural marvel can enlighten you on its rich history while allowing you to feast your eyes on masterpieces such as Michelangelo's Pietà or Bernini's baldachin that adorns the papal altar (atop St. Peter's tomb) alongside several other works housed within this grand edifice— Saint Peter's Basilica is indeed a sight to behold for any visitor seeking spiritual nourishment amidst awe-inspiring beauty.

  • The Raphael Rooms will be visited whenever safety measures and capacity allow as part of the tour.
