  • Tips
  • Exiting the checkpoint, our guide initiated his tour by pointing to St. Peter’s Basilica and telling us its history. Inside the basilica, we found many fascinating and awe-inspiring elements, along with stories about important events that had happened within these sacred spaces. The sense of quietness, coupled with respect, seeped into the building and around us, making a protective cocoon of peace enveloping all who entered into it. What made me even more impressed was getting to know some interesting facts regarding building materials as well as methods utilized during those times, which only added to my amazement with this outstanding piece of art.
