Your experience

Begin with a pick-up from your hotel.

Proceed to the Vatican, meet your guide and start the tour having St.

Peter’s Square.

The reat embracing Bernini’s wide colonnades, Pope’s Balcony St.

Peter’s Basilica, the biggest church in the world, hosts Michelangelo’s famous “Pietà”, among other notables.

Your car will wait outside and bring you to the Vatican Museums where you can greet extremely well- pained masterpieces by almost every Italian artist worth his salt; from Renaissance to Baroque masters you name it – juxtaposed with the antiquities from Ancient Greece, Rome and Egypt ‘The galleries loved most of all are the ones with tapestries and maps In Sistine Chapel learn everything about it by letting yourself leisurely enjoy Michelangelo’s monumental frescoes.

Last Judgment so fine you gotta see every bit of those arches Fresco-splashed on your last view is a lively drive-by to the Arch of Constantine, well preserved right beside the Colosseum.

Now stomp through The Roman Forum in the Roman Emperors’ footsteps; the guide’s words will just make one see grand processions and speeches in that space.

End this bit of exploration at The Arch of Titus on Palatine Hill; walk about it for sheer historical value and former greatness within the Roman Empire.

On leaving this visit, one will especially be picked up and ushered into an Italian restaurant to have Italian appetizer with pasta.

Following which, your driver will escort you back to your hotel or any other location within the city center.

NOTE: The Vatican is closed on Sundays and on holy days; tours can be arranged on these days on this exceptional basis.

With the car and guide at your disposal, discover St Peter’s Square, the surrounding of Castel Sant’ Angelo, and some great sites like Capitoline Hill where you can see amazing views of the Forum.

This will begin either with a visit to the Vatican place or to the Coliseum depending upon ticket availability or any other alternation.

To Remember

Know before you go

  • Please provide all participants' names and surnames. Vatican tickets are nominal, and at the museum's entrance, they will check correspondence with your IDs.
  • If there are CHILDREN UNDER 4, kindly share their date of birth and their number; one of them will take the tour for free if there is enough space in the car; sitting on an adult's lap is not allowed in Italy.
  • This tour includes pick up from all central hotels/apartment/B&B. Centrally locations are within a radius of 7 kilometers from the Pantheon
  • Note that visitors with limited mobility can rent a wheelchair at the Vatican Museums for free. Please note that the pathway from the Sistine Chapel to the Basilica has 50 steps downwards, and is not wheelchair accessible. The tour will continue to the Basilica if all members of your private group can walk down the stairs
  • IMPORTANT: on Sundays and religious holidays, the Vatican is closed. An alternative tour plan is offered on these days
