Your host will be waiting for you near the Vatican Museums to hand you the entry tickets before going to the entrance. You will have to go through a security check before entering and starting your discovery.Walk through various rooms filled with art and history such as the Raphael Rooms or the Gallery of Maps. In these rooms you can appreciate masterpieces like the Belvedere Apollo or see ancient sculptures like the Belvedere Torso which was highly valued by Michelangelo for its expressive power.When you enter the Sistine Chapel, take a moment to look at every fresco on its walls and ceiling because they are all works of art in their own right painted by different artists. See nine stories from Genesis told in pictures in the central area of the ceiling — including the famous Creation of Adam — all of which were painted by Michelangelo over a four-year period.Don't rush your visit and hopefully it will help you develop a deeper understanding and appreciation for this place that holds so much cultural and artistic significance!
