Tours are capped at 30 people, all led by licensed Vatican tour guides who will take visitors through the priceless artistic treasures found within seven different museums that make up the heart of the Vatican Museum complex.

In a confidential and informal atmosphere, the guide will tell anecdotes and fascinating information that illuminate the understanding of the historical, artistic, and cultural milieu of masterpieces in the Hall of the Muses, Pio-Clementine Museum, Gallery of Maps, Gallery of Tapestries, Raphael Rooms, and beautiful Courtyard of the Pinecone right in Vatican City.

At last, the tour will reach its conclusion with a visit to the Sistine Chapel; there shall be no speaking inside; outside explanations are given using special panels provided by Museums.

There will be time enough to see paintings that represent Italian Renaissance art at its apex—the exquisite frescoes by Botticelli, Perugino,Pintorucchio,Ghirlandaio,LucaSignoretti,Piero di Cosimo—as well as Michaelangelo's extraordinary Vault Cycle and Last Judgment.
