Notice of Temporary Closure of the Sistine Chapel It is hereby notified to our esteemed visitors that the Sistine Chapel shall remain closed to the public from April 28 until after the election of the new Pope.
During this period, other parts of the Vatican Museums will be open to access for visitors and therefore maintain a significant and enriching experience.
