Your NLE tour of the Vatican Museums will begin right away—where centuries of art and history come to life! Walk through the Gallery of Maps—a superb display of hand-painted geography from 500 years ago—plus admire tapestries and ancient sculptures located in The Gallery of Tapestries and The Gallery of Candelabra.

The tour ends in the Sistine Chapel, where you will see for yourself standing under the dazzling frescoes by Michelangelo, among them famous The Creation of Adam and Last Judgment.

Those who choose the optional Basilica visit will be able to enter St.

Peter’s directly from the Sistine Chapel.

The tour ends outside the Basilica; after that, you can freely walk through St.

  • Please Note that the option "Vatican museum & skip the line ticket" is not a guided tour, but only ticket to access.
  • The Basilica of Saint Peter is closed on Wednesdays and during religious holidays.
  • All guests must bring a photo ID for the security check.
  • Please note that the Vatican Museums are very strict with entrance times. Latecomers cannot be guaranteed entry, and no refund will be provided if you arrive late or do not attend the tour.
  • The Vatican Museums follow a mandatory dress code, be sure to cover shoulders and knees.
  • Please note that during the Jubilee year the Basilica of Saint Peter may observe different unexpected closures.
  • Disabled visitors receive free entry to the Vatican Museums. To benefit from this, make sure you mention it at the time of booking so that staff may handle your request.
