During his Saturday Jubilee Audience, Pope Leo XIV graciously welcomed the attendees of the Jubilee of the World of Work, who were among the 45,000 faithful gathered in St. Peter's Square.

Work as a Source of Hope and Vitality

The Pope emphasized that work can be a source of hope and vitality, helping to reveal one's personal creativity and goodness. Increasing professional development. The Pope urged everyone in the community to help create conditions where everyone can develop professionally, especially young people.

The Pope expressed hope for an effort by both societal and institutional actor to create jobs that provide the youth with reliable work and allow them to achieve their dreams and help the people of our communities.

Poland's Journeys into the Realm of Employment

When he spoke with pilgrims from Poland, the Pope also highlighted how long the people of Poland have had a "Work Pilgrimage" tradition that dates back to Saint John Paul II's encyclical "Labor Exercens", which Saint John Paul II wrote as a response to the growing number of automated devices being utilized around the world.

According to Pope Leo, the words of Christ crucified awaken the conscience and restore the dignity of people. He told the believers that letting them see into their hearts through faith in Christ's power to heal is a testimony of hope; it shows that everything has changed from what it used to be.
