The Pope told the partners of the anniversary celebrations: "Thank you for showing Rome such hospitality."
Pope Leo Greets Jubilee Partners
On Saturday morning, the Pope began his day by greeting government officials and the delegate representatives from civil and ecclesiastical institutions involved in the celebration of this Jubilee Year of Hope. He expressed his appreciation to each of these individuals for helping to make the Jubilee Year of Hope a success through their collaboration on projects including the support of the Italian government and security forces, as well as with the various governmental and ecclesiatical bodies known here as Dicasteries.
He said that this type of sending offers examples of groups and organizations within books from all the contributions collected (usually with little regard); and continued to challenge themselves while accepting the required responsibilities associated with supporting over 30 million pilgrims for their Jubilee pilgrimage as a means of fulfilling their goals.
Hope at the Heart of the Pilgrim's Journey
Hope constitutes an integral aspect of the pilgrim's journey. The Holy Doors opened by the Pilgrims and their visits to the apostles' graves served as a sign of hope that was constant and consistently available to people throughout all time.
Hope is once again available to all people, and it was made available through the volunteers working with these pilgrims who held out hope for them through their work on behalf of these Pilgrims during their visits to the Holy Doors. St. Augustine had said that "the hope of the Pilgrim" was a most important part of his or her pilgrim journey. Many young people from around the globe traveled to Rome, the capital of the Church, and are a very impactful way to display youth in one area, the diversity and unity among you and your commitment to serving.

An Obligation Towards Youth and Future
He believes that we share an obligation towards our youth and future. With this understanding, after the Jubilee Experience, he urged all of those who participated in the Jubilee Experience to contemplate what really matters for those youth. In addition, he encouraged all participants to think of ways they could discover the solutions that come from their hearts concerning the more significant problems in life.
Role Models of Holiness
To get inspiration for living a holy life, one should look for good examples of holiness (role models). A couple of examples of role models are St. Pier Giorgio Frassati and St. Carlo Acutis. By examining their lives and what they did to achieve sanctity, they can provide inspiration and support for all on their journey to holiness.
May the seeds of optimism flourish. In his Bull of Indiction, Pope Francis made a resounding declaration about how much hope there is in the synod as a result of opening the Holy Door in 2024, saying, "As you read this Bull of Indiction, I want to say to each one of us that we will be totally filled with hope together." Pope Leo affirmed this request twelve months later with the statement, "The authority we bring with us as a fruitful expansion of the previously completed work will guarantee whole some seeds that have been sown in our minds will keep growing."

A Gift of Gratitude: The Jubilee Crucifix
Concluding, the Holy Father presented the volunteers with “a small sign of gratitude, the Jubilee Crucifix: a miniature of the cross with the glorious Christ that accompanied the pilgrims.” He offered it as a reminder of the unique experience they have just completed.
“I bless you and wish you every good for this new year. Thank you!”
