A new exhibition will be held at the Castel Gandolf Apostolic Palace on March 14
Exhibition "El Greco in the Mirror" at Castel Gandolfo
The exhibition titled “El Greco in the Mirror: Two Paintings Compared” is set to be inaugurated on Saturday, March 14, at 4:00 PM, within the Apostolic Palace of Castel Gandolfo.
Opening Ceremony Guests
The attendees of the opening ceremony will feature Sr. Raffaella Petrini, President of the Governorate of Vatican City State; Barbara Jatta, Director of the Vatican Museums and Cultural Heritage; Andrea Tamburelli, Director of the Pontifical Villas; Lucio d’Alessandro, Rector of the Suor Orsola Benincasa University of Naples; Fabrizio Biferali, Curator of the 15th–16th Century Art Department of the Vatican Museums; and Alessandra Zarelli from the Paintings and Wooden Materials Restoration Laboratory of the Vatican Museums.
Concert: Pergolesi's Stabat Mater
A concert entitled “Sorrow and Prayer” will take place following the event, showcasing Stabat Mater composed by Giovanni Battista Pergolesi. The performance will feature the Orchestra delle Cento Città alongside the Eos Choir, under the direction of conductor Mirco Roverelli.
