Pope Leo XIV Meets Armenian Prime Minister at the Vatican

On Monday morning, Pope Leo XIV held a meeting with Mr. Nikol Pashinyan, the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, at the Vatican.

Regarding the meeting between Prime Minister Morrison and Pope Francis, the Vatican's press office released an announcement which indicates that at the same time, Cardinal Parolin ( Secretary of State ) also held meetings with Cardinal Gallagher secretary for the Relations of Italy and all international organizations and the Holy See.

Bilateral Relations and Peace in the South Caucasus

There are good ties between the Holy See and the Armenian nation. After concluding friendly talks at the General Secretariat of the Holy See, both parties have expressed that they take great satisfaction from their long-standing, historically significant, and newly developing friendship with each other.
